I'm not sure. I think so. Check it out for yourself.
I think what happens is if the line is busy, it gives a recorded message. I called and got the message, and a minute later tried again and it went through.
All the food is amazing
Alcohol?
Good food with good prices!! Under $3 appetizers and under $8 pho?! Too good to be true! The food is not the best food you will ever have, but it is definitely good authentic Vietnamese food. Service was fast and polite, even though it was pretty busy by the time I got there. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place
Quaint place, low key casual with DELICIOUS food! Generous servings of Pho.
Unfortunately, although the flavor of the food was good, the Dine In service was poor, the bill for the food was higher than listed on the menu and the rice noodles had been replaced with wheat noodles, although I questioned the wait staff prior to ordering to confirm the noodle were made of rice. Buyer beware, especially when ordering take out the problems cannot be fixed without an extra trip back.
The quality and price are both independently the best for Vietnamese and Thai dishes in Rochester. Their chicken Pad Thai is definitely the best in Rochester. Make sure you use the sauce they provide with it. It's a rice vinegar sauce that changes the taste of the dish for the better. Without the sauce the pad Thai tasted like pad see ewe. With it the taste is a little sweeter like pad Thai. They use wide rice noodles. I'd definitely recommend for anyone with a craving for Thai/Vietnamese food.
It was very busy but the wait was not long...the food was amazing. So authentic and seasoned just right. The people were very friendly. Place is small and seating is a little tight but definitely worth the visit. Always come when I come to Rochester. I reccomend the pho and pad thai with shrimp.
The food was delicious! Good customer service and the food came super quick as well. First experience was great, would come back again!!!
Absolutely delicious pho! All the ingredients are so fresh. We ordered an appetizer and had all our food on the table within 15 minutes. My boyfriend loves the crayfish boil. Would recommend to anyone!
Food and service were both excellent. My wife and I both had combination pad thai. Very good, was hot when we got it and portions were large enough that we both had to get take home boxes.
The staff are some of the nicest people in Rochester - greet you by name and ensure you are always taking care of. The food is excellent and more than reasonably priced. Our go to family takeout during the week. Thank you!
Great place to stop for great food. I go here every time I swing thru Rochester. Great place friendly people always satisfied.
I've been here quite a few times and have always had good service. There is so much on the menu that it is hard to choose. One time I ordered something and asked them not to put peanuts on since I'm allergic to them. The dish was brought with peanuts, but they were very nice about bringing me a new one. This time I decided on soup. The bowl was as big as a serving bowl! Have me three meals. I was disappointed that there was only one small piece of squid and one shrimp in thewhole bowl. It was very good though. I loved all the cilantro in it. I was disappointed that the tea I ordered did not come in a pot like every other place I've been, but was just given hot water and a teabag. The waitress didn't come with the bill (like someone else mentioned) but I did not find it a problem. I just went up to the cash register to pay. I think the biggest problem is the parking.
Nice pho place ...had veg pho once here about 3 yrs back
The egg rolls were tasty and unique. The Chicken Pad Thai was very tasty and interesting as well. This was the first time I've seen a Pad Thai with thick noodles like this, which I actually enjoyed. The parking is a little tight and they have signs directing people to nearby overflow lots that are available.
The food here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. My husband recommended this place and I was in awe the whole time we were eating. There is no comparison to anything else I’ve tried before and no words to describe the flavors dancing around in your mouth but “YUM!”
The food is incredibly good and the most amazing staff! Highly recommend it.
Food was not so great portions are big noddles had lots of water and oil they do not provide silverware or napkis on a take out order.
Great food, fast service, the Pho has a great, complex broth. Pad Thai was strong and flavorful; not greasy. Will definitely come back on next trip to Rochester.
Pho Chau has the best Vietnamese food in Rochester! It is so affordable, and one of my go-to restaurants for cozy food. Especially love the soups.
AMAZING!Even my meat & potatoes skeptical Father enjoyed his food! And the prices are phenomenal!
This place has very very good food and the portion size is huge. I loved I definitely will go back. It is not pricy at all and the place was clean and everybody was very friendly.
Phenomenal food, excellent wait staff reasonable prices. A mustache visit when in Rochester.. Fabulous Mango shakes and Vietnamese coffee. Wish it was closer to our house. 😋
I was asked to put ony mask just to be seated at a dirty table. Why worry about the mask if u don't even clean the table u seat your customers at. Soda was very watered down. Service was slow,, even though they only had one customer.the pho is bunk. Food very bland. Zero stars if i could
Amazing service every time!! Been coming here for years. The food is absolutely incredible!
Literally THEE best food in Rochester omg. So grateful they are still open during the COVID pandemic. I'm from the cities and absolutely no restaurant up there compares to Pho Chau. Their service is phenomenal, they make your food SO quick, and absolutely everything on their menu is good. If you haven't been here yet, make it your top priority because you are missing out!!
A jewel in the heart of Rochester! Pho is great, along with the rest of their menu items. Staff efficient and always courteous. A bit of a drive but we'll worth the effort.
Has pretty decent pho n the crepe , although I think adding a bit more of noodles in the pho wouldn’t hurt. The broth was extremely delicious and meat was cooked to perfection.
This is the nearest walkable viet restaurant near our place. Pricing was ok, delicious food, clean restaurant. Cravings satisfied after having this warm bowl of noodles. Will definitely come back to try on the other menu.
Best in its league. Fast and Good service. Decent seating. Great taste (I have tried veg dishes only). You can order on phone and pick up in 20 minutes. Carry out food quantity is certainly plentiful.
Almost worth a drive from Minneapolis! We stopped in after a long day of hiking and were met with a busy dining room and the most amazing smells coming from the kitchen. We had chosen wisely. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. I thought it would take a while to get our food but was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it came. Two giant bowls of streaming curry and chicken. Amazing food. The owner greeted us as we left and thanked us for stopping in. It was a great experience and we were stunned at the prices (very affordable). We will go here again!
Absolutely, wonderful interior with a wide selection of entries. Location is a bit rough for getting in and parking, but when you do get in you will not regret it. Food is reasonably priced for the portions you get. Well worth the visit.
Fast service. Good spring rolls. Great pho.
They have very good broth for the pho. The beef and brisket pho was recommended to me since I have never been here before. It was good but more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants I have been to.
We thoroughly enjoy Pho Chau. Takeout on Friday night did take 40 minutes but it was worth it. Our spread including pad thai, banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes), bun bo xao xa (beef lemongrass vermicelli), and com tam dac biet (broken rice with grilled pork & egg). Probably wouldn't get the crepe again.
The food was good but nothing stood out as different or super delicious. It was hot inside and super busy. Service was rough and drink weren't filled. I wouldn't suggest the place to a friend. There are better Asian places in Rochester
Food is decent I wouldn’t say too good, the staff are somewhat messy and arrogant , the old women at the counter is very sweet though , food tastes a little bland parking space is very limited. If u are planning to come in the afternoons for lunch please beware of the parking . I took off the stars due to bad customer service and food not tasting that good. But do give a try you might like the soupy noodles.
Delicious food & fast, friendly service. I had the Basil Curry Fried Rice with chicken, yum!
Been here a couple times. I prefer the pho at Pho Tai but this location has more variety in the menu. I ordered the curry chicken soup and I enjoyed it a lot. The prices are a bit higher than I would've liked.
I ordered the chicken pho and it did not disappoint! The chicken was really good and the broth was amazing. I thought the price was a bit high (over $11 for the bowl and i had water to deink) but it was really good. I will definitely visit again next time I go to Rochester!
Great service, hot and tasty food. Fair prices. Definitely recommend this place
Service was poor prices went up and food was not good amount for the price they jacked up. My take out order was always wrong because they didn't take the time to take the order.
Prices went up,service and food quality went down WOW
Excellent food and great service. This place is hopping every time I've gone. Very affordable, so it's a great place to keep coming back. I love their mango smoothies.
New owner ruined Pho ChauUsed to be our favorite restaurant in Rochester, MN. New owner took over recently and the prices for the same dish went up from $8 to $11, and then $15 in about ONE year. Plus, the food quality went down. Whatever meat they use is the lowest quality possible. I normally dont post reviews, but.... it is very dissapointing. We'll never give them our business again...Instead, try Pho Tai or Wabi Sabi
Lunch time they Ok sevice but the just for the noodles /dessert its kinda of expensive
Delicious food! Still great prices though seem to go up a bit over the years. Service usually not too shabby though have had interesting experiences. Management always very accommodating if something went awry. Do their best when it’s super busy. Recommend going during a slow time for the best experience. Our favorites are chicken curry soup, fresh spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and shrimp pad Thai.
Not very many vegetarian options. Watch out for fish sauce in your food if you want to be completely vegan! If you eat all kinds of meats, this place is nice. Since my diet changed in the last 4 years I have been away from the area, it wasn't as good as I remembered it was. As a vegetarian, I won't be back to this restaurant again.
Prices have gone up since new ownership took over but luckily the food is still just as good. The pad thai is to die for! Only disappointment is that their vietnamese iced coffee has changed and is way too sweet. I used to stop and just coffee a out once a week but not anymore. I much preferred the coffee of the past.
great food. amzing fast, friendly waitstaff and owner makes you feel like part of he family. Keep doing what you are doing Cathy!
Great food, clean and well spaced during Covid. Highly recommend.
Really great take-out Asian cuisine! All 3 items for about $27...not a bad deal! The best was the fresh spring roll: tastes like the just made it! The only drawback: styrofoam containers.
